Not Looking

Zoey Pearson has discovered a loophole in the love department:

To stop looking and put herself out there to be found.

Zoey Pearson knows she should be enjoying life alongside a gorgeous husband and their 2.5 kids—not breaking up with yet another Mr. Wrong. But life doesn't always go according to plan. When the 32-year-old teacher decides to let love do the work, Zoey soon realizes it won't find her sitting on her couch eating pints of Häagen-Dazs; thus, she embarks on a series of escapades to be found.

While Zoey's "Not Looking" loophole brings men into her life, those like Bikram Brad and the lead singer of a Robert Palmer tribute band sink fast from being “Mr. Maybe” to “Mr. Uh-uh, Not-Gonna Happen.” Included in her list of failed prospects is Nate Corbett, a new hire at work who shows up Zoey at their elementary school, then has the audacity to ask her on a date. But when one of their students is injured in a hit-and-run accident, Zoey and Nate are entangled in a series of complications—and with one another—until Zoey learns what's truly important in life, and that one doesn't have to search to find what's been there all along.
